Code § 3599.22","heading":"Prohibitions concerning printing of ballots.","body":"(A) No person employed to print or engage in printing the official ballots shall knowingly do any of the following:\n(1) Print or cause or permit to be printed an official ballot other than the official ballot furnished by the board of elections;\n(2) Print or permit to be printed more ballots than are delivered to the board;\n(3) Appropriate, give, deliver, or knowingly permit to be taken away any of such ballots by a person other than the person authorized by law to do so;\n(4) Print such ballots on paper other than that provided in the contract with the board;\n(5) Package or deliver to the board fewer ballots than the number the board directed to be printed.\n(B) Whoever violates division (A) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.","path":["Title 35 Elections","Chapter 3599 Offenses And Penalties"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3599.22","current_through":"1997-12-09 (Senate Bill 116 - 122nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:34Z","sha256":"66a7368b4cc8cde87a9e20112e4d73cfb1f9ccb074ee3cc81034cfdf483dd3f9","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3599.21","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3599.23"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
