Code § 3701.362","heading":"Identifying and informing persons who may benefit from palliative care.","body":"(A) Each of the health care facilities and providers identified in division (B) of this section shall do both of the following:\n(1) Establish a system for identifying patients or residents who could benefit from palliative care;\n(2) Provide information on palliative care to patients and residents who could benefit from palliative care.\n(B) Division (A) of this section applies to all of the following:\n(1) A hospital registered under section 3701.07 of the Revised Code;\n(2) An ambulatory surgical facility, as defined in section 3702.30 of the Revised Code;\n(3) A nursing home, residential care facility, county home, or district home, as defined in section 3721.01 of the Revised Code;\n(4) A veterans' home operated under Chapter 5907. of the Revised Code;\n(5) A hospice care program or pediatric respite care program, as defined in section 3712.01 of the Revised Code;\n(6) A home health agency, as defined in section 3740.01 of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 37 Health-Safety-Morals","Chapter 3701 Department of Health"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3701.362","current_through":"2021-09-30 (House Bill 110 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:34Z","sha256":"3d7ef0044c04b166835d18e0f684828a77ceee7f82f71a8ca782268a17a5366b","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3701.361","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3701.37"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
