Code § 3702.75","heading":"Physician loan repayment program.","body":"There is hereby created the physician loan repayment program. Under the program, the department of health, by means of a contract provision under division (B)(3) of section 3702.74 of the Revised Code, may agree to repay all or part of the principal and interest of a government or other educational loan taken by a primary care physician for the following expenses, so long as the expenses were incurred while the physician was enrolled in, for up to a maximum of four years, a medical school or osteopathic medical school in the United States that was, during the time enrolled, accredited by the liaison committee on medical education or the American osteopathic association, or a medical school or osteopathic medical school located outside the United States that was, during the time enrolled, acknowledged by the world health organization and verified by a member state of that organization as operating within the state's jurisdiction:\n(A) Tuition;\n(B) Other educational expenses, such as fees, books, and laboratory expenses, for specific purposes and in amounts determined to be reasonable by the director of health;\n(C) Room and board, in an amount determined reasonable by the director of health.","path":["Title 37 Health-Safety-Morals","Chapter 3702 Health Care Facilities and Services"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3702.75","current_through":"2014-09-15 (House Bill 483 - 130th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:34Z","sha256":"1aa2a9138f40130522d98a54b0753024ab21acfb1ad9705fb9b6e98c0b011333","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3702.74","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3702.76"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
