Code § 3702.90","heading":"Application approval process.","body":"If funds are available in the dentist loan repayment fund created under section 3702.95 of the Revised Code and the general assembly has appropriated the funds for the program, the director of health shall approve an applicant for participation in the program on finding in accordance with the priorities established under section 3702.88 of the Revised Code that the applicant is eligible for participation and is needed in a dental health resource shortage area.\nOn approving an application, the director shall notify and enter into discussions with the applicant. The object of the discussions is to facilitate recruitment of the applicant to a site within a dental health resource shortage area at which, according to the priorities established under section 3702.88 of the Revised Code, the applicant is needed.\nIf the director and applicant agree on the applicant's placement at a particular site within a dental health resource shortage area, the applicant shall sign and deliver to the director a letter of intent agreeing to that placement.","path":["Title 37 Health-Safety-Morals","Chapter 3702 Health Care Facilities and Services"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3702.90","current_through":"2009-10-16 (House Bill 1 - 128th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:34Z","sha256":"3c80bc93e2f72e1c4d0a11f1cb96fd7e1b06a8af8336e866353fb027ed79317f","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3702.89","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3702.91"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
