Code § 3740.02","heading":"License requirements.","body":"Beginning one year after the effective date of this section :\n(A)(1) No home health agency shall do either of the following unless the agency holds a current, valid license to provide skilled home health services issued under this chapter:\n(a) Provide skilled home health services through one or more employees;\n(b) Hold the agency, or any employee of the agency, out as a provider of skilled home health services.\n(2) No home health agency shall do either of the following unless the agency holds either a current, valid license to provide nonmedical home health services, or a current, valid license to provide skilled home health services, issued under this chapter:\n(a) Provide nonmedical home health services through one or more employees;\n(b) Hold the agency, or any employee of the agency, out as a provider of nonmedical home health services.\n(B)(1) No nonagency provider shall do either of the following unless the provider holds a current, valid license to provide skilled home health services issued under this chapter:\n(a) Provide skilled home health services;\n(b) Hold oneself out as a provider of skilled home health services.\n(2) No nonagency provider shall do either of the following unless the provider holds either a current, valid license to provide nonmedical home health services, or a current, valid license to provide skilled home health services, issued under this chapter:\n(a) Provide nonmedical home health services;\n(b) Hold oneself out as a provider of nonmedical home health services.","path":["Title 37 Health-Safety-Morals","Chapter 3740 Home Health Service Providers"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3740.02","current_through":"2021-09-30 (House Bill 110 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:34Z","sha256":"a755bfde2cfd35e33db1c2a543b6d38c2c076fcb46f5cdc7f10c8aadfbbeaead","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3740.01","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3740.03"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
