Code § 3902.631","heading":"Reimbursement for certified registered nurse anesthetist services.","body":"(A) A health benefit plan issued, amended, or renewed on or after the effective date of this section that provides coverage for a health service that a certified registered nurse anesthetist is authorized to perform pursuant to section 4723.43 of the Revised Code shall not differentiate in the reimbursement rate for such a service based on whether the service was provided by a certified registered nurse anesthetist or by a physician licensed under under Chapter 4731. of the Revised Code.\n(B) Nothing in this section shall be construed as prohibiting a health benefit plan from establishing variable reimbursement rates based on quality or performance measures.","path":["Title 39 Insurance","Chapter 3902 Insurance Policies And Contracts"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3902.631","current_through":"2025-09-30 (House Bill 96 - 136th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:35Z","sha256":"4aa525618d7d62fc604effd5034c0232ccad6f46480330f50d82b2ed0b105967","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3902.63","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3902.64"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
