Code § 3924.033","heading":"Information disclosed by carrier to employer.","body":"(A) Each carrier, in connection with the offering of a health benefit plan to a small employer, shall disclose to the employer, as part of its solicitation and sales materials, the following information:\n(1) The provisions of the plan concerning the carrier's right to change premium rates and the factors that may affect changes in premium rates;\n(2) The provisions of the plan relating to renewability of coverage;\n(3) The provisions of the plan relating to any pre-existing condition exclusion;\n(4) The benefits and premiums available under all health benefit plans for which the employer is qualified.\n(B) The information described in division (A) of this section shall be provided in a manner determined to be understandable by the average small employer, and in a manner sufficient to reasonably inform a small employer regarding the employer's rights and obligations under the health benefit plan.\n(C) Nothing in this section requires a carrier to disclose any information that is by law proprietary and trade secret information.","path":["Title 39 Insurance","Chapter 3924 Small Employer Health Benefit Plans; Provision Of Health Care Coverage"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3924.033","current_through":"1999-03-22 (House Bill 698 - 122nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:35Z","sha256":"5f76779e4799d2af38fcd08c3c50cdc78214a7e23f4edd1b217e66ba707380da","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3924.032","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3924.04"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
