Code § 4301.253","heading":"Training program.","body":"In considering whether to suspend or revoke a permit issued under Chapter 4303. of the Revised Code or to issue an order allowing a permit holder to elect to pay a forfeiture under section 4301.252 of the Revised Code, the liquor control commission shall consider whether the permit holder and the permit holder's employees have successfully completed a training program that includes all of the following:\n(A) Instruction on the statutes and rules that govern the sale of beer, wine, mixed beverages, and intoxicating liquor;\n(B) Instruction on the prevention of the illegal serving of beer, wine, mixed beverages, and intoxicating liquor to persons under twenty-one years of age;\n(C) Use of conflict management skills in alcohol-related situations;\n(D) Instruction on methods to safely evacuate the premises of a permit holder in an emergency.","path":["Title 43 Liquor","Chapter 4301 Liquor Control Law"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4301.253","current_through":"2004-04-07 (Senate Bill 23 - 125th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:36Z","sha256":"acd6f0c0ca5159cc8c80b1d7e9a141ee1022a4731a9f36c8faa45d0c8440911a","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4301.252","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4301.26"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
