Code § 4715.52","heading":"Unlicensed practice.","body":"(A) Except as provided in division (B) of this section, no person shall practice or hold that person out as a dental x-ray machine operator without a valid certificate issued under section 4715.53 of the Revised Code.\n(B) Division (A) of this section does not apply to any of the following:\n(1) Dentists or dental hygienists licensed under this chapter;\n(2) As specified in 42 C.F.R. 75, radiologic personnel employed by the federal government or serving in a branch of the armed forces of the United States;\n(3) Students engaging in any of the activities performed by dental x-ray machine operators as an integral part of a program of study leading to receipt of a license or certificate issued under this chapter or a license issued under Chapter 4731., 4734., or 4773. of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4715 Dentists; Dental Hygienists"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4715.52","current_through":"2019-10-17 (House Bill 166 - 133rd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:37Z","sha256":"939ee033bdf92717c915ff73baa360172f22caa6479cd6a6f808e0e9fb5f9d2a","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4715.51","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4715.53"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
