Code § 4729.11","heading":"Establishing pharmacy internship program.","body":"The state board of pharmacy shall establish a pharmacy internship program for the purpose of providing the practical experience necessary to practice as a pharmacist. Any individual who desires to become a pharmacy intern shall apply for licensure to the board. An application filed under this section may not be withdrawn without the approval of the board.\nEach applicant shall be issued a license as a pharmacy intern if the board determines that the applicant is actively pursuing an educational program in preparation for licensure as a pharmacist and meets the other requirements as determined by the board. The board shall issue a pharmacy intern license in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to an applicant who holds a license in another state or has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in that chapter as a pharmacy intern in a state that does not issue that license.
