Code § 4731.869","heading":"Remedies and damages.","body":"(A) A plaintiff who prevails in an action under section 4731.861 or 4731.864 of the Revised Code shall be entitled to:\n(1) Reasonable attorney's fees; and\n(2) Either of the following:\n(a) Compensatory and punitive damages;\n(b) Liquidated damages of ten thousand dollars.\n(B) A plaintiff who prevails in an action under section 4731.861 of the Revised Code is also entitled to reimbursement for the cost of the assisted reproduction procedure.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4731 Physicians; Limited Practitioners"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4731.869","current_through":"2023-04-04 (Senate Bill 288 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:37Z","sha256":"4742faacaa7c4b68b8f3541dccd418c4087f718774e1690274e8d5a0258af756","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4731.867","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4731.8610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
