Code § 4732.18","heading":"Restoration of license.","body":"At any time after the suspension or revocation of a license, the state board of psychology may restore the license upon the written finding by the board that circumstances so warrant. At the time it restores a license, the board may impose restrictions and limitations on the practice of the license holder.\nThe board may require a person seeking restoration of a license to submit to mental, substance abuse, cognitive, or physical evaluations, or a combination of these evaluations. Evaluations shall be conducted by qualified individuals selected by the board. The costs of any evaluative processes shall be paid by the applicant for restoration. A person requesting restoration of a license is deemed to have given consent to submit to a mental or physical examination when directed to do so in writing by the board and to have waived all objections to the admissibility of testimony or examination reports that constitute a privileged communication.\nAs a further condition of license restoration, the board may require the applicant to do both of the following:\n(A) Take the examination selected by the board under section 4732.11 of the Revised Code and receive a score acceptable to the board;\n(B) Participate in board processes designed to expose the applicant to Chapter 4732. of the Revised Code and rules promulgated thereunder, which may include passing a written or oral examination on the Ohio laws and rules governing psychologists, independent school psychologists, and school psychologists.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4732 Psychologists"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4732.18","current_through":"2023-04-06 (House Bill 509 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:37Z","sha256":"57a4b9331b59f38946e09e0a6d7d816f664f138502b820beae72cb4617cb4fa5","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4732.173","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4732.19"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
