Code § 4751.10","heading":"Prohibited acts.","body":"No person shall knowingly do any of the following:\n(A) Operate a nursing home unless it is under the supervision of an administrator whose principal occupation is nursing home administration or hospital administration and who is a licensed nursing home administrator;\n(B) Practice or offer to practice nursing home administration unless the person is a licensed nursing home administrator;\n(C) Use any of the following unless the person is a licensed nursing home administrator:\n(1) The title \"licensed nursing home administrator,\" \"nursing home administrator,\" \"licensed assistant nursing home administrator,\" or \"assistant nursing home administrator\";\n(2) The acronym \"LNHA,\" \"L.N.H.A.,\" \"NHA,\" \"N.H.A.,\" \"LANHA,\" \"L.A.N.H.A.,\" \"ANHA,\" or \"A.N.H.A.\" after the person's name;\n(3) Any other words, letters, signs, cards, or devices that tend to indicate or imply that the person is a licensed nursing home administrator.\n(D) Use any of the following unless the person is a licensed health services executive:\n(1) The title \"licensed health services executive\" or \"health services executive\";\n(2) The acronym \"LHSE,\" \"L.H.S.E.,\" \"HSE,\" or \"H.S.E.\" after the person's name;\n(3) Any other words, letters, signs, cards, or devices that tend to indicate or imply that the person is a licensed health services executive.\n(E) Sell, fraudulently furnish, fraudulently obtain, or aid or abet another person in selling, fraudulently furnishing, or fraudulently obtaining either of the following:\n(1) A nursing home administrator license;\n(2) A health services executive license.\n(F) Otherwise violate any of the provisions of this chapter or the rules adopted under section 4751.04 of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4751 Nursing Home Administrators"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4751.10","current_through":"2023-04-06 (House Bill 509 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:38Z","sha256":"662ae9c040d114896a9e701711cae25f7d62167d79e7dabc0ffa6a7c8a83f6c1","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4751.04","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4751.101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
