Code § 4758.61","heading":"Authority of prevention specialist assistant, registered applicant certificate holder.","body":"An individual who holds a valid prevention specialist assistant certificate or registered applicant certificate issued under this chapter may engage in the practice of prevention services under the supervision of any of the following:\n(A) A prevention consultant or prevention specialist certified under this chapter;\n(B) An individual authorized under Chapter 4731. of the Revised Code to practice medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery;\n(C) A psychologist licensed under Chapter 4732. of the Revised Code;\n(D) A registered nurse licensed under Chapter 4723. of the Revised Code;\n(E) A licensed professional clinical counselor, a licensed professional counselor, an independent social worker, a social worker, an independent marriage and family therapist, or a marriage and family therapist licensed under Chapter 4757. of the Revised Code;\n(F) A school counselor licensed by the state board of education pursuant to section 3319.22 of the Revised Code;\n(G) A health education specialist certified by the national commission for health education credentialing;\n(H) An individual authorized to practice as a certified nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist under Chapter 4723. of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4758 Chemical Dependency Professionals"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4758.61","current_through":"2023-10-03 (House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:38Z","sha256":"523504b8b53b98dddd87c41b031dc6cc79f94d9e3215f629747e53513b524b74","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4758.60","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4758.62"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
