Code § 4760.02","heading":"License required to practice.","body":"(A) Except as provided in division (B) of this section, no person shall practice as an anesthesiologist assistant unless the person holds a current, valid license issued under this chapter to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant.\n(B) Division (A) of this section does not apply to either of the following:\n(1) A person participating in a training program leading toward certification by the national commission for certification of anesthesiologist assistants, as long as the person is supervised by an anesthesiologist, an individual participating in a hospital residency program in preparation to practice as an anesthesiologist, or an anesthesiologist assistant who holds a current, valid license issued under this chapter;\n(2) Any person who otherwise holds professional authority granted pursuant to the Revised Code to perform any of the activities that an anesthesiologist assistant is authorized to perform.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4760 Anesthesiologist Assistants"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4760.02","current_through":"2019-10-17 (House Bill 166 - 133rd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:38Z","sha256":"a76f18beb86e8a33fa1fc54a99a5269f7b8dcf149806309dd13499f066306b91","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4760.01","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4760.03"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
