Code § 4762.99","heading":"Penalty.","body":"(A) Whoever violates section 4762.02 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree on a first offense; on each subsequent offense, the person is guilty of a felony of the fourth degree.\n(B)(1) Whoever violates division (B)(1), (C)(1), (C)(2), (D), or (E) of section 4762.16 of the Revised Code is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on each subsequent offense the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, except that an individual guilty of a subsequent offense shall not be subject to imprisonment, but to a fine alone of up to one thousand dollars for each offense.\n(2) Whoever violates division (B)(2) or (C)(3) of section 4762.16 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on a first offense; on each subsequent offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.\n(C) Whoever violates division (E) of section 4762.14 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.","path":["Title 47 Occupations-Professions","Chapter 4762 Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine Practitioners"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-4762.99","current_through":"2025-09-30 (House Bill 96 - 136th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:38Z","sha256":"8b9e17fa1b2b62ee5ae8320f698dad988d41c7c71f8e8a9996727e4d9483dedc","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4762.23","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-4763.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
