Code § 4779.15","heading":"Conducting examinations.","body":"Except as provided in section 4779.17 of the Revised Code, the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board shall examine or cause to be examined each individual who seeks to practice orthotics, prosthetics, orthotics and prosthetics, or pedorthics in this state.\nTo be eligible to take an examination conducted by the board or an entity recognized by the board for the purpose of this section, an individual must file an application and pay an examination fee as specified in rules adopted by the board under section 4779.08 of the Revised Code and meet all the requirements of section 4779.09 of the Revised Code other than the requirement of having passed the examination.\nExaminations shall be conducted at least once a year in accordance with rules adopted by the board under section 4779.08 of the Revised Code. Each applicant shall be examined in such subjects as the board requires.\nThe board may use as its examination all or part of a standard orthotics, prosthetics, orthotics and prosthetics, or pedorthics licensing examination established for the purpose of determining the competence of individuals to practice orthotics, prosthetics, or pedorthics in the United States.
