Code § 5126.08","heading":"Programs and services offered by county board.","body":"(A) The director of developmental disabilities shall adopt rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code for all programs and services offered by a county board of developmental disabilities. Such rules shall include, but are not limited to, the following:\n(1) Determination of what constitutes a program or service;\n(2) Standards to be followed by a board in administering, providing, arranging, or operating programs and services;\n(3) Standards for determining the nature and degree of developmental disability;\n(4) Standards and procedures for making eligibility determinations for the programs and services;\n(5) Procedures for obtaining consent for the arrangement of services under section 5126.31 of the Revised Code and for obtaining signatures on individualized service plans under that section;\n(6) Specification of the service and support administration to be provided by a county board and standards for resolving grievances in connection with service and support administration.\n(B) The director shall be the final authority in determining the nature and degree of developmental disability.","path":["Title 51 Public Welfare","Chapter 5126 County Boards of Developmental Disabilities"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-5126.08","current_through":"2016-10-12 (House Bill 158 - 131st General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:39Z","sha256":"a61ead8e12a9f04afba969b4be7df9a7b4f760dd0285736dc4afa4b784640593","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5126.071","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5126.081"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
