Code § 5153.05","heading":"Advisory committee on children services.","body":"If a county children services board appointed under section 5153.03 of the Revised Code is a public children services agency for a county, the board may appoint an advisory committee on children services. If an entity specified in division (B) or (C) of section 5153.02 of the Revised Code is a public children services agency for a county, the board of county commissioners may appoint an advisory committee on children services. If appointed, an advisory committee may do all of the following:\n(A) Further cooperation between the public children services agency and other child-caring agencies in the county;\n(B) Carry out studies of the effectiveness and need for particular services to children in the county;\n(C) Advise the public children services agency on policies pertaining to the provision of services to children.","path":["Title 51 Public Welfare","Chapter 5153 County Children Services"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-5153.05","current_through":"1997-10-01 (House Bill 408 - 122nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:39Z","sha256":"1feebbd8a423146b27739ef459e5d789398a2671b412a15cae91a69912cd7b80","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5153.04","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5153.06"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
