Code § 5160.47","heading":"Membership in the public assistance reporting information system and other multistate cooperatives.","body":"(A) The department of medicaid shall do both of the following:\n(1) Enter into any necessary agreements with the United States department of health and human services and neighboring states to join and participate as an active member in the public assistance reporting information system;\n(2) Explore joining other multistate cooperatives, such as the national accuracy clearinghouse, to identify individuals enrolled in public assistance programs outside of this state.\n(B) The department may disclose information regarding a medical assistance recipient to the extent necessary to participate as an active member in the public assistance reporting information system or other multistate cooperative.","path":["Title 51 Public Welfare","Chapter 5160 Medical Assistance Programs"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-5160.47","current_through":"2019-07-01 (House Bill 119 - 132nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:40Z","sha256":"c0df3b35d3736c8e9e2e7da13a3a7bfd67477f111c2c368032637cac832c9a82","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5160.46","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5160.471"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
