Code § 5815.04","heading":"Uniform fiduciary act definitions.","body":"As used in sections 5815.04 to 5815.11 of the Revised Code:\n(A) \"Bank\" includes any person, carrying on the business of banking and any financial institution defined in section 5725.01 of the Revised Code.\n(B) \"Fiduciary\" includes a trustee under any trust, expressed, implied, resulting, or constructive, an executor, administrator, guardian, conservator, curator, receiver, trustee in bankruptcy, assignee for the benefit of creditors, partner, agent, officer of a corporation, public or private, public officer, or any other person acting in a fiduciary capacity for any person, trust, or estate.\n(C) \"Person\" includes a corporation, partnership, association, or two or more persons having a joint or common interest.\n(D) \"Principal\" includes any person to whom a fiduciary as such owes an obligation.\n(E) \"Good faith\" includes an act when it is in fact done honestly.","path":["Title 58 Trusts","Chapter 5815 Miscellaneous Provisions"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-5815.04","current_through":"2007-01-01 (House Bill 416 - 126th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:42Z","sha256":"881c1edb21cf6a3e9afdf5dc253f7dcccda7cb231818cc07fb5216516333c216","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5815.03","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5815.05"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
