Code § 5903.04","heading":"Adoption of rules.","body":"Each licensing agency shall adopt rules under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code to establish and implement all of the following:\n(A) A process to obtain from each applicant documentation and additional information necessary to determine if the applicant is a service member or veteran, or the spouse or surviving spouse of a service member or veteran;\n(B) A process to record, track, and monitor applications that have been received from a service member, veteran, or the spouse or surviving spouse of a service member or veteran; and\n(C) A process to prioritize and expedite certification or licensing for each applicant who is a service member, veteran, or the spouse or a surviving spouse of a service member or veteran.\nIn establishing these processes, the licensing agency shall include any special accommodations that may be appropriate for applicants facing imminent deployment, and for applicants for a temporary license or certificate under division (C) of section 4743.04 of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 59 Veterans-Military Affairs","Chapter 5903 Veterans' Rights"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-5903.04","current_through":"2023-12-29 (Senate Bill 131 - 134th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:42Z","sha256":"175152995ee2a085801e47011da66423e059e873cbd4c912051fa8bdb1ea6d28","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5903.03","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-5903.05"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
