Code § 735.12","heading":"Appointment of commission to construct market house.","body":"When a city has a market house or public hall in connection therewith in contemplation or in process of construction, the director of public service may employ three citizens of the city, to be named by him, who shall constitute a commission.\nEach person so appointed shall receive such compensation, not to exceed five dollars for each meeting attended by him, as the director fixes, which shall in no case exceed twelve hundred dollars per annum.
