Code § 907.29","heading":"Label information.","body":"(A) Each container of legume inoculant culture which is distributed in this state shall bear thereon or have attached thereto in a conspicuous place on the outside thereof a plainly written or printed label in the English language the following information:\n(1) The name and address of the person responsible for the distribution of the legume inoculant;\n(2) The name of the group or groups of plants for which the brand is represented to be effective;\n(3) The name of the brand of the pure or mixed culture of legume inoculant and lot number;\n(4) The rate at which the legume inoculant culture is to be applied;\n(5) Date beyond which the legume inoculant is not claimed to be effective.\n(B) Each container of pre-inoculated seed which is distributed in this state shall bear thereon or have attached thereto in a conspicuous place a plainly written or printed label in the English language giving the following information:\n(1) The name and address of the person responsible for the distribution;\n(2) The brand and lot number of the legume inoculant used to pre-inoculate the seed;\n(3) Date beyond which the legume inoculant is not claimed to be effective.\n(C) Pre-inoculated seed which is sold or delivered in bulk, or custom inoculated seed which is returned to the owner shall be labeled as under division (B) of this section; except that, the required information may be added or attached to the invoice or delivery ticket which shall be delivered to the purchaser along with the seed.","path":["Title 9 Agriculture-Animals-Fences","Chapter 907 Agricultural Seed"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-907.29","current_through":"1966-01-01 (House Bill 615 - 106th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:28Z","sha256":"3719b1b898b3c235ef177609db9f72d0c091d3f00bc503d65d3a7ad8d8a6d230","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-907.28","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-907.31"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
