The Child Death Review Board shall be composed of twenty-\n\nseven (27) members, or their designees, as follows:\n\n1. Fourteen of the members shall be:\n\na. the Chief Medical Examiner,\n\nb. the Director of the Department of Human Services, or a\n\ndesignee, provided the designee shall be a person\n\nassigned to the Child Welfare Division of the\n\nDepartment,\n\nc. the State Commissioner of Health,\n\nd. the Director of the Office of Child Abuse Prevention,\n\ne. the Director of the Oklahoma Commission on Children\n\nand Youth,\n\nf. the Chief Child Abuse Medical Examiner,\n\ng. the Chief of Maternal and Child Health Services of the\n\nState Department of Health,\n\nh. the Commissioner of Mental Health and Substance Abuse\n\nServices,\n\ni. the Chair of the Child Protection Team of the Oklahoma\n\nChildren's Hospital,\n\nj. the Director of the Office of Juvenile Affairs,\n\nk. the Chief of Injury Prevention Services of the State\n\nDepartment of Health,\n\nl. the State Epidemiologist of the State Department of\n\nHealth,\n\nm. the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation, and\n\nn. the Chief Executive Officer of the Oklahoma Health\n\nCare Authority; and\n\n2. Thirteen of the members shall be appointed by the Director\n\nof the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth, shall serve for\n\nterms of two (2) years, and shall be eligible for reappointment.\n\nThe members shall be persons having training and experience in\n\nmatters related to the abuse or neglect of a child. The appointed\n\nmembers shall include:\n\na. a law enforcement officer selected from lists\n\nsubmitted by the executive boards of organizations\n\nrepresenting sheriffs and peace officers in this\n\nstate,\n\nb. an attorney licensed in this state who is in private\n\npractice selected from a list submitted by the\n\nexecutive board of the Oklahoma Bar Association,\n\nc. a district attorney selected from a list submitted by\n\nthe District Attorney's Council,\n\nd. a physician selected from lists submitted by statewide\n\norganizations representing physicians in this state,\n\ne. a physician selected from lists submitted by statewide\n\norganizations representing osteopathic physicians in\n\nthis state,\n\nf. a member of the State Post-Adjudication Review\n\nAdvisory Board,\n\ng. a social worker selected from a list submitted by each\n\norganization representing social workers,\n\nh. an individual selected from lists submitted by\n\nOklahoma court-appointed special advocate\n\nassociations,\n\ni. a psychologist selected from lists submitted by\n\nOklahoma psychological associations,\n\nj. a member of a Native American Tribe involved in the\n\narea of protection of Native American children\n\nselected from a list submitted by the Oklahoma Indian\n\nAffairs Commission,\n\nk. an individual selected from lists submitted by\n\nOklahoma coalitions or associations against domestic\n\nviolence and sexual assault,\n\nl. a pediatric physician selected from lists submitted by\n\norganizations of pediatric physicians or osteopaths,\n\nand\n\nm. a member of an emergency medical technicians\n\nassociation.\n\nB. Every two (2) years the Board shall elect from among its\n\nmembership a chair and a vice-chair. The Board shall meet at least\n\nquarterly and may meet more frequently as necessary as determined by\n\nthe chair. Members shall serve without compensation but may be\n\nreimbursed for necessary travel out of funds available to the\n\nCommission pursuant to the State Travel Reimbursement Act; provided,\n\nthat the reimbursement shall be paid in the case of state employee\n\nmembers by the agency employing the member.\n\nC.
