Residents of group homes subject to the Group Homes for\n\nPersons with Developmental or Physical Disabilities Act may receive\n\nany guest or visitor in the group home during reasonable hours as\n\nlong as the visit does not infringe upon the rights of other group\n\nhome residents. Any guest or visitor entering a group home shall\n\npromptly notify the staff on duty of their presence and shall, upon\n\nrequest, produce identification to establish their identity. No\n\nsuch person shall enter the immediate living area of any resident\n\nwithout first identifying oneself and then receiving permission from\n\nthe resident to enter. The rights of other residents present in the\n\nroom shall be respected. A resident may terminate at any time a\n\nvisit by a person having access to the living area of the resident\n\npursuant to this section.\n\nB. This section shall not limit the power of the Department of\n\nHuman Services or other public agency otherwise permitted or\n\nrequired by law to enter and inspect a group home.\n\nC.
