Stat. tit. 10, § 10-175.1","heading":"Legislative intent and purpose","body":"It is the intent and purpose of Sections 175.3 through 175.13 of\n\nthis title to provide for a more efficient administration of the\n\nChildren with Special Health Care Needs Program in Oklahoma and to:\n\n1. Provide for a continuity of dependable funds to establish\n\nand conduct a program of medical care for children who have or are\n\nat increased risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral,\n\nor emotional condition and who also require health and related\n\nservices of a type or amount beyond that required by children\n\ngenerally;\n\n2. Provide leadership in building and promoting a community-\n\nbased system of services that is family-centered, comprehensive,\n\ncoordinated, and culturally competent;\n\n3. Cooperate with all public and private agencies and\n\ninstitutions interested in the care of children in making funds and\n\nresources of these public and private agencies and institutions\n\navailable for the care of such children; and\n\n4. Cooperate with the appropriate agency of the federal\n\ngovernment in making effective the provisions of the Federal Social\n\nSecurity Act, 42 U.S.C., Section 301 et seq., relating to children\n\nwith special health care needs and such other laws, provisions, or\n\nprograms that the Congress has adopted or may adopt for the remedial\n\ncare of such children, including, but not limited to, provisions for\n\nprevention, for locating such children and for providing medical,\n\ncorrective, and other services and care, and facilities for\n\ndiagnosis, hospitalization, and aftercare for such children.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e99cc338693acff42122943a0640d9979222d1f2a65f7f19aa56d01f4426ff48","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-170.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-175.10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
