Stat. tit. 10, § 10-175.10","heading":"Applications for crippled children's services","body":"(a) Applications for crippled children's services on behalf of a\n\nchild may be made directly to the Commission by a court, by a county\n\nwelfare director, or by a parent, physician, osteopath, dentist,\n\ncounty health official, child welfare worker or consultant, or by\n\nany other interested person or agency. The Director on behalf of\n\nthe Commission may accept or reject any such application. Upon\n\nacceptance of an application, the Director on behalf of the\n\nCommission shall determine the extent of eligibility for care in\n\naccordance with the provisions of this Act; provided, that nothing\n\nin this Section shall interfere with the administration and\n\noperation of emergency plans and procedures as authorized in Section\n\n175.5, subsection (h), of this Title.\n\n(b) The Commission may collect in whole or in part reimbursement\n\nfrom the parent or other person or volunteer agency for services\n\nprovided for the child, provided that no child shall be denied\n\nservices because of financial inability on the part of the family or\n\nlegal guardian.\n\n(c) Any charges for services provided by the Commission under\n\nauthority granted by this Act based upon application made by the\n\ncounty welfare director becomes payable to the Commission in whole\n\nor in part from the respective children's budget account, provided\n\nfor in Section 175.11 of this Title. Collections shall be based\n\nupon terms agreed upon by the Commission and the respective county\n\nwelfare director.\n\n(d) Any charges for services provided by the Commission under\n\nauthority granted by this Act based upon application made by a\n\ncounty welfare director that are not reimbursed from the County\n\nCrippled Children's Budget Account and any charges for services\n\nprovided by the Commission upon application made by a child welfare\n\nworker of the Department of Public Welfare become payable from the\n\nsums allocated and appropriated for the purpose of carrying out the\n\nprovisions of this Act, upon certification and approval of the\n\nclaims by the Director.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9297654f547011e1bea313cc8cda7e0c1d59eae15cc852add5aa27b66646d32d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-175.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-175.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
