Stat. tit. 10, § 10-175.7","heading":"Powers of Commission","body":"(a) The Commission is hereby authorized and empowered to approve\n\nor disapprove hospitals, convalescent homes, boarding homes, nursing\n\nhomes or foster homes and to contract for their services on a basis\n\nnot to exceed their per diem cost basis. The Commission is hereby\n\nalso authorized and empowered to approve or disapprove professional\n\npersonnel for the various types of services authorized and\n\ncontemplated by this act, and to contract for their services.\n\n(b) Only a person who has been duly licensed by the Board of\n\nExaminers in Optometry to practice optometry in this state, or a\n\nperson who has been duly licensed by the State Board of Medical\n\nLicensure and Supervision to practice medicine or surgery in this\n\nstate shall be employed or paid under the provisions of this act, or\n\nfrom appropriations made by this act, to examine the eyes of a\n\nvisually handicapped child to determine whether or not he has a\n\ndefective vision that can be corrected with lenses, or to fit and\n\nfurnish lenses for any such child.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d962c64f0fe85125abe2148d4c4c0994eb93fef1fe8516d2b97b2f3c27d5756f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-175.5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-175.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
