Stat. tit. 10, § 10-405.5","heading":"Continuation of license upon inheritance or purchase of","body":"a facility.\n\nA. An individual who inherits or purchases a licensed child\n\ncare facility and operates the facility with the same personnel\n\nemployed by the previous owner may continue to operate the facility\n\nunder the same license and at the same star rating as the previous\n\nowner for a period of ninety (90) calendar days.\n\nB. The Department of Human Services shall be notified of any\n\nchange of ownership of a licensed child care facility by the next\n\nDepartment of Human Services business day and prior to the new owner\n\nassuming operations of the facility.\n\nC. If individuals who receive ownership of a licensed child\n\ncare facility through purchase or inheritance have met all\n\nrequirements for owners of child care facilities by the end of the\n\nninety-calendar-day period established in subsection A of this\n\nsection, they may continue to operate the facility at the same star\n\nrating. If all requirements have not been met, the facility may not\n\ncare for children until the facility is authorized to do so by the\n\nDepartment.\n\nD.
