Stat. tit. 10, § 10-601.3","heading":"Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth - Duties","body":"The Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth is hereby\n\nauthorized and directed to:\n\n1. Establish and maintain the Office of Planning and\n\nCoordination for Services to Children and Youth;\n\n2. Establish and maintain the Office of Juvenile System\n\nOversight;\n\n3. Designate community partnership districts for services to\n\nchildren and youth and, within the limitations of available funds,\n\nwhether appropriated or otherwise available, provide staff,\n\ntechnical assistance and other assistance as necessary and\n\nappropriate to the district boards;\n\n4. Establish services for the children of incarcerated parents.\n\nDuties designed to improve the lives of children of incarcerated\n\nparents shall include:\n\na. coordinating research,\n\nb. collecting data,\n\nc. creating a resource clearinghouse,\n\nd. developing an educational toolkit describing services\n\navailable to children of incarcerated parents, and\n\ne. coordinating an advisory committee to work\n\ncollaboratively with agencies and service providers to\n\nbetter meet the needs and improve the quality of life\n\nfor children of incarcerated parents; and\n\n5.
