Stat. tit. 10, § 10-601.42","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Act for Coordination of Special Services to\n\nChildren and Youth, Section 601.41 et seq. of this title:\n\n1. \"Committee\" means the Joint Legislative Committee for Review\n\nof Special Services to Children and Youth;\n\n2. \"Commission\" means the Commission on Children and Youth;\n\n3. \"Coordinating Council\" means the Interagency Coordinating\n\nCouncil for Special Services to Children and Youth appointed\n\npursuant to Section 601.45 of this title;\n\n4. \"Eligible population\" means children and youth three (3) to\n\ntwenty-one (21) years of age who are identified as eligible for\n\nrelated services pursuant to an IEP;\n\n5. \"IEP\" means an Individualized Education Program developed in\n\naccordance with the Education of All Handicapped Children Act of\n\n1975, P.L. No. 94-142, as amended;\n\n6. \"Local education agency\" means a dependent, independent, or\n\narea school district or other entity so defined by the Code of\n\nFederal Regulations, 34 C.F.R. Section 300.8;\n\n7. \"Related services\" means services so defined by 34 C.F.R.\n\nSection 300.13;\n\n8. \"Special services population\" means children and youth who\n\nare not part of the eligible population as defined herein but who\n\nare being served by or are eligible to be served by a school\n\ndistrict pursuant to subsection B, C, D, E, F, or G of Section 1-113\n\nof Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes or subsection D, E, or F of\n\nSection 18-110 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes; and\n\n9. \"State Plan\" means the State Plan for Special Education and\n\nSpecial Student Service Coordination and Assistance developed\n\npursuant to Section 601.46 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"46ef2759d95db9b330483790320cd7985918b8844b72b107f7659975bc42d7fc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-601.41","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-601.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
