Stat. tit. 10, § 10-601.64","heading":"Duties of the Oklahoma Commission on Children and","body":"Youth.\n\nA. From funds appropriated or otherwise available for the\n\npurpose of implementating the Community Youth Development Act, the\n\nOklahoma Commission on Children and Youth shall:\n\n1. Issue requests for proposals and contract with eligible\n\nentities for community children and youth development programs and\n\ndelinquency prevention and early intervention programs; and\n\n2. Provide information and technical assistance to school\n\ndistricts, neighborhood and community organizations, and agencies\n\nwithin the children and youth service system, as that term is\n\ndefined by Section 600 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes, for the\n\npurpose of assisting them to make application for federal and\n\nprivate grants for community children and youth development programs\n\nand delinquency prevention and early intervention programs.\n\nB. The Commission, with the assistance of and information\n\nprovided by the Department of Human Services, the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation, and the Department of Commerce, shall\n\nestablish eligibility criteria for identifying neighborhoods, school\n\ndistricts, communities and specific areas within school districts\n\nand communities having crime rate, economic or other demographic\n\ncharacteristics recognized as indicators of distressed areas. The\n\nDepartment of Human Services, the statutorily created juvenile\n\nbureaus, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the\n\nDepartment of Commerce shall provide the Commission with information\n\nand assistance, as requested by the Commission, for the purpose of\n\nestablishing the criteria required by this subsection.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"31abca548caa055cb32be0d4480fb3f35a5694d21053b995c3b97ca8d732035e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-601.63","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-601.65"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
