Prior to April 1, 1991, the following agencies shall\n\npromulgate uniform rules and adopt uniform procedures and forms for\n\nthe maintenance, transfer and release of confidential information:\n\n1. Department of Human Services;\n\n2. Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services;\n\n3. State Department of Health;\n\n4. State Department of Education;\n\n5. Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education;\n\n6. Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth;\n\n7. J.D. McCarty Center for Children with Developmental\n\nDisabilities;\n\n8. Department of Corrections; and\n\n9. Beginning July 1, 1998, the Office of Juvenile Affairs.\n\nB. Private agencies receiving public funds pursuant to a grant\n\nor contract with a state agency listed in subsection A of this\n\nsection and providing institutional, community residential or\n\ncommunity-based services, as defined by Section 1101 of this title,\n\nto children and families, shall comply with the rules regarding the\n\nmaintenance, transfer and release of confidential information\n\nadopted by the governing board of the state agency or agencies from\n\nwhich they receive funds.\n\nC. The provisions of Sections 620.1 through 620.6 of this title\n\nshall not apply to court records of juvenile cases maintained by the\n\ndistrict courts. The supervising judge of a statutorily constituted\n\njuvenile bureau may establish court rules for the transfer and\n\nrelease of other confidential information maintained by the juvenile\n\nbureau which substantially conform with the rules, forms and\n\nprocedures promulgated and adopted by state agencies pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of Sections 620.1 through 620.6 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9a6a8b35a90a98f479f3f282baa26e84b30ff87cec292fb1ed26b8211dec20b5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-620.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-620.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
