Stat. tit. 10, § 10-620.6","heading":"Guidelines and forms for inspection, release,","body":"disclosure, etc. of records.\n\nA. The task force established pursuant to Section 620.2 of\n\nTitle 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes, with the cooperation and\n\nassistance of the Serious and Habitual Juvenile Offender Program\n\nImplementation Task Force, shall prepare proposed guidelines and the\n\nform and content of proposed interagency agreements for the\n\ninspection, release, disclosure, sealing and expungement of\n\ninformation contained in the records defined by Section 9 of this\n\nact. Said guidelines shall:\n\n1. Be in compliance with applicable state and federal laws\n\nproviding for the confidentiality of records and information;\n\n2. Provide for the inspection, release or disclosure of only\n\nthe information necessary and appropriate, and only to the extent\n\nnecessary, for the purpose for which such inspection, release or\n\ndisclosure is made.\n\nB. On or before July 1, 1993, the agencies listed in subsection\n\nA of Section 620.3 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes and the\n\nagencies comprising the juvenile justice system as defined by\n\nSection 2 of this act shall, and the agencies comprising the\n\nchildren and youth service system as defined by Section 600 of Title\n\n10 of the Oklahoma Statutes may:\n\n1. Adopt rules, policies, procedures, standards, protocols and\n\nguidelines, as appropriate, for the inspection, release, disclosure,\n\nsealing and expungement of confidential records in accordance with\n\nthe proposed guidelines prepared pursuant to subsection A of this\n\nsection; and\n\n2. Enter into contracts or interagency agreements under the\n\nInterlocal Cooperation Act for the sharing or disclosure of\n\nconfidential information in accordance with said rules, policies,\n\nprocedures, standards, protocols and guidelines.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fb7a3fa9bffeb5efd715cb929e6df903f220de8a8390603bc74c328f6946c27e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-620.5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-63"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
