An appeal may be taken from any final order, judgment,\n\ndecree, or any order determining a minor eligible for adoption\n\nwithout terminating parental rights rendered pursuant to the\n\nOklahoma Adoption Code to the Supreme Court by any person aggrieved\n\nthereby, in the manner provided for appeals from the court as\n\nprovided in this section.\n\nB. In an appeal concerning the adoption of a minor or the\n\ntermination of parental rights for adoption purposes, or any order\n\ndetermining a minor eligible for adoption without terminating\n\nparental rights, the appellant's designation of record shall be\n\nfiled in the trial court within ten (10) days after the date of the\n\njudgment or order. Appellee's counter designation of record shall\n\nbe filed in the trial court ten (10) days after appellant's\n\ndesignation of record is filed in the trial court.\n\nC. All appeals of cases concerning the adoption of a minor or\n\nthe termination of parental rights for adoption purposes, or an\n\norder determining that a minor is eligible for adoption which does\n\nnot terminate parental rights, shall be initiated by filing a\n\npetition in error in the Supreme Court within thirty (30) days of\n\nthe filing of the order, judgment, or decree appealed from. The\n\nrecord on appeal shall be completed within thirty (30) days from the\n\nfiling of the petition in error. Any response to the petition in\n\nerror shall be filed within twenty (20) days from the filing of the\n\npetition in error.\n\nD. The briefing schedule is established as follows:\n\n1. Appellant's brief in chief shall be filed twenty (20) days\n\nafter the trial court clerk notifies all parties that the record is\n\ncomplete and such notice has been filed in the office of the Clerk\n\nof the Supreme Court;\n\n2. Appellee's answer brief shall be filed fifteen (15) days\n\nafter the appellant's brief in chief is filed; and\n\n3. Appellant's reply brief may be filed within ten (10) days\n\nafter the appellee's answer brief is filed.\n\nE. Any appeal when docketed should have priority over all cases\n\npending on said docket. Adjudication of appeals and any other\n\nproceedings concerning the adoption of the minor described in this\n\nsection shall be expedited by the Supreme Court.\n\nF.
