Stat. tit. 10, § 10-7510-2.1","heading":"Department of Human Services to contract or join with","body":"adoption exchange - Information to be provided - Definitions.\n\nA. The Department of Human Services, as funds become available\n\nfor such purposes, shall contract with or join the Oklahoma\n\nChildren's Adoption Resources Exchange or any other instate or out-\n\nof-state or national adoption exchange for purposes of increasing\n\nand promoting the placement and adoption of children who are in the\n\ncustody of the Department of Human Services and in child-placing\n\nagencies.\n\nB. Upon contracting with or joining the Oklahoma Children's\n\nAdoption Resources Exchange or any instate or out-of-state or\n\nnational adoption exchange, the Department and all child-placing\n\nagencies shall be required to provide certain information to the\n\nOklahoma Children's Adoption Resource Exchange or any other instate,\n\nout-of-state or national adoption exchange specified by the\n\nDepartment.\n\nC. For purposes of the Subsidized Adoption Act:\n\n1. \"Adoption exchange\" shall include only those exchanges which\n\nprovide a monthly updated system, containing a photograph or\n\ndescription of each child whose parental rights have been terminated\n\nand is legally available for adoption; and\n\n2. \"Oklahoma Children's Adoption Resource Exchange\" is a\n\nprivate nonprofit corporation incorporated in this state whose\n\nmembership is composed of child-placing agencies which operates\n\nunder the direction of a board of directors selected in accordance\n\nwith the bylaws of the corporation.","path":["OK Code","Title 10"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"52bfde9a2ab272c14b4ec230ca147e6bc414abd0f2d17cc4cb6cb7cb19b041e3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-7510-1.6","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10-10-7510-2.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
