Stat. tit. 10, § 10-93","heading":"Notice of hearing of petition to be given by certified mail","body":"and by publication in newspaper.\n\nWhen the petition mentioned in 10 O.S. 1971, Section 92, is\n\nfiled the court shall fix a day for the hearing thereof, which day\n\nshall be not less than fifteen (15) nor more than thirty (30) days\n\nfrom the date of the filing of the petition. Notice of the hearing\n\nof the petition shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt\n\nrequested, delivery restricted to addressee only, to the parents of\n\nthe minor, if living, to the guardian of the minor, if one has been\n\nappointed, or to the person who has custody of the minor if such\n\nperson is other than parent or guardian of the minor, and if both of\n\nthe minor's parents are dead, the court may order that notice be\n\nsent by certified mail, return receipt requested, delivery\n\nrestricted to addressee only, to other relatives of the minor;\n\nprovided, however, that no notice shall be sent to a person who\n\nendorses on the petition that notice of the day of the hearing is\n\nwaived. Notice of the hearing shall be given by publication in some\n\nnewspaper printed in the county where such petition is filed, and if\n\nthere be none, then in some legal newspaper having a general\n\ncirculation in the county one time, at least ten (10) days prior to\n\nthe day set for the hearing of the said petition.
