Sections 1-1-101 through 1-9-122 of this title shall be\n\nknown and may be cited as the \"Oklahoma Children's Code\".\n\nB. All statutes hereinafter enacted and codified in this title\n\nshall be considered and deemed part of the Oklahoma Children's Code.\n\nC. Article, chapter, and part captions are part of the Oklahoma\n\nChildren's Code, but shall not be deemed to govern, limit or in any\n\nmanner affect the scope, meaning or intent of the provisions of any\n\nchapter or part of this Code.\n\nD. The provisions of this article shall not apply to adoption\n\nproceedings and actions to terminate parental rights which do not\n\ninvolve a petition for deprived status of the child.
