Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-1-2-106","heading":"Notice to person being investigated","body":"At the initial time of contact with a person responsible for the\n\nhealth, safety, or welfare of a child who is the subject of an\n\ninvestigation pursuant to the Oklahoma Children’s Code, the\n\nDepartment of Human Services shall advise the person of the specific\n\ncomplaint or allegation made against the person. If the Department\n\nis unable to locate the person, as soon as possible after initiating\n\nthe investigation of the person, the Department shall provide to the\n\nperson a brief and easily understood written description of the\n\ninvestigation process. Notice shall include:\n\n1. A statement that the investigation is being undertaken by\n\nthe Department pursuant to the requirements of the Oklahoma\n\nChildren’s Code in response to a report of child abuse or neglect;\n\n2. A statement that the identity of the person who reported the\n\nincident of abuse is confidential and may not even be known to the\n\nDepartment since the report could have been made anonymously;\n\n3. A statement that the investigation is required by law to be\n\nconducted in order to enable the Department to identify incidents of\n\nabuse or neglect in order to provide protective or preventive social\n\nservices to families who are in need of such services;\n\n4. A statement that, upon completion of the investigation, a\n\nletter will be sent from the Department which will inform the\n\nperson:\n\na. that the Department has found insufficient evidence of\n\nabuse or neglect, or\n\nb. that there appears to be probable cause to suspect the\n\nexistence of child abuse or neglect in the judgment of\n\nthe Department;\n\n5. An explanation of the procedures of the Department for\n\nconducting an investigation of alleged child abuse or neglect,\n\nincluding:\n\na. a description of the circumstances under which the\n\nDepartment would seek to remove the child from the\n\nhome through the judicial system, and\n\nb. an explanation that the law requires the Department to\n\nrefer all reports of child abuse or neglect to a law\n\nenforcement agency for a separate determination of\n\nwhether a criminal violation occurred;\n\n6. The procedures to follow if there is a complaint regarding\n\nthe actions of the Department or to request a review of the findings\n\nmade by the Department during or at the conclusion of the\n\ninvestigation;\n\n7. The right of the person to review records filed with the\n\ncourt in the event an action is filed;\n\n8. The right of the person to seek legal counsel;\n\n9. References to the statutory and regulatory provisions\n\ngoverning child abuse and neglect and how the person may obtain\n\ncopies of those provisions;\n\n10. The process the person may use to acquire visitation with\n\nthe child if the child is removed from the home; and\n\n11.
