Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-1-4-603","heading":"Order of adjudication finding child to be deprived","body":"A. If the court finds that:\n\n1. The factual allegations in a petition filed by the state\n\nalleging that a child is deprived are supported by a preponderance\n\nof the evidence;\n\n2. Such allegations are sufficient to support a finding that\n\nthe child is deprived; and\n\n3. It is in the best interests of the child that the child be\n\ndeclared to be a deprived child and made a ward of the court,\n\nthen the court shall sustain the petition, and shall make an order\n\nof adjudication finding the child to be deprived and shall adjudge\n\nthe child as a ward of the court.\n\nB. The order of adjudication shall include a statement that\n\nadvises the parent that failure to appear at any subsequent hearing\n\nor comply with any requirements of the court may result in the\n\ntermination of parental rights to the child.\n\nC. When a child has been adjudicated deprived, the court shall\n\nenter a dispositional order pursuant to the provisions of Section 1-\n\n4-707 of this title.\n\nD. When a child has been adjudicated deprived, the parent or\n\nother legal custodian shall register with the court clerk within two\n\n(2) days of the adjudication and provide a valid, current address or\n\nother place where the parent or other legal custodian may be served\n\nwith a summons. In the event that the address or place where the\n\nparent or legal custodian may be served a summons changes during the\n\ncourse of the litigation, the parent or other legal custodian shall\n\nhave the obligation of filing a change of address form with the\n\nclerk.
