Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-1-7-109","heading":"Foster placements - License or authorization -","body":"Exception.\n\nA. Except as otherwise provided by this section, no child in\n\nthe custody of the Department of Human Services shall be placed with\n\nany foster placement unless the foster placement:\n\n1. Has a current license or authorization issued pursuant to\n\nthe Oklahoma Child Care Facilities Licensing Act; or\n\n2. Meets licensing standards as required by the Oklahoma Child\n\nCare Facilities Licensing Act and is otherwise approved for foster\n\ncare by the state agency for children within its custody.\n\nB. Except as otherwise provided by this section, no person,\n\ncorporation, or other legal entity shall receive a child for foster\n\ncare or provide foster care services to a child unless such legal\n\nentity has a license or meets licensing standards as required by the\n\nOklahoma Child Care Facilities Licensing Act, and is otherwise\n\napproved by the state agency for children within its custody.\n\nC. The provisions of this section shall not be construed to\n\nprohibit foster placement of children in foster homes licensed or\n\napproved by Indian tribes, pursuant to the terms in Section 40.8 of\n\nTitle 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nD.
