When a child in the custody of the Department of Human\n\nServices becomes eligible for adoption and the child needs a\n\npermanent placement, the Department shall notify and disseminate\n\ninformation about the child to licensed child-placing agencies that\n\nhave requested in writing to receive such notice in order to locate\n\na possible prospective adoptive parent for the child.\n\nB.
