The court is hereby authorized to establish a juvenile drug\n\ncourt for the purpose of treating adjudicated juveniles who have a\n\nsubstance abuse disorder. The Department of Mental Health and\n\nSubstance Abuse Services shall assist in the establishment of\n\njuvenile drug courts.\n\nB. At the disposition hearing to set disposition of a case, the\n\ncourt may determine whether there are any statutory preclusions,\n\nother prohibitions, or program limitations that exist and are\n\napplicable to considering the juvenile for participation in the drug\n\ncourt program.\n\nC. A juvenile drug court investigation shall be ordered by the\n\ncourt, upon the motion of the district attorney, the juvenile, or\n\nthe judge, once the requirements of subsection B of this section are\n\nmet. The court shall set a date for a hearing to determine final\n\neligibility for admittance into the program.\n\nD.
