Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-2-805","heading":"Commitment of child to custody of Office of Juvenile","body":"Affairs - Delivery to designated institution.\n\nWhen a child is committed to the custody of the Office of\n\nJuvenile Affairs under the provisions of this article, the court\n\nshall order the child to be delivered by the sheriff or by a private\n\ncontractor pursuant to the provisions of Section 2-3-103 of this\n\ntitle to an institution, or other place, designated by the Office,\n\nand the cost of transportation shall be paid from the general fund\n\nof the county.
