Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-3-102","heading":"Persons under 18 years of age who have fled from","body":"another state considered adults for purposes of detention only in\n\ncertain cases.\n\nWhenever a person under eighteen (18) years of age, who has fled\n\nfrom another state, is taken into custody, that person shall be\n\nconsidered an adult only for the purposes of detention if:\n\n1. The person has been charged with commission of an offense in\n\nthe other state which is considered a felony in that state; and\n\n2. The person is certified as an adult in that state for the\n\npurpose of criminal prosecution for said felony or has reached the\n\nstatutory age of majority in that state; and\n\n3.
