Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-4-102","heading":"Director and other personnel","body":"The chief administrative officer of the juvenile bureau shall be\n\na director, who shall be subject to the direction and supervision of\n\nthe judge of the Juvenile Division, subject to the general\n\nadministrative authority of the Presiding Judge of the Judicial\n\nAdministrative District within budgetary limitations. There shall\n\nbe sufficient counselors, clerks and assistant clerks to properly\n\nconduct the work of the bureau. The director shall be a person over\n\nthe age of thirty (30) years, of good character, qualified in social\n\nwork, and familiar with the problems of juvenile delinquency and\n\ndependency. The director shall be appointed by the judge of the\n\nJuvenile Division, subject to the general administrative authority\n\nof the Presiding Judge of the Judicial Administrative District, from\n\na list of eligible persons established by the citizens' advisory\n\ncommittee at the request of the Presiding Judge of the Judicial\n\nAdministrative District. Counselors and other persons may be\n\nemployed by the director with the approval of the judge of the\n\nJuvenile Division, subject to the general administrative authority\n\nof the Presiding Judge of the Judicial Administrative District. The\n\ndirector may be removed by the judge of the Juvenile Division,\n\nsubject to the general administrative authority of the Presiding\n\nJudge of the Judicial Administrative District at any time.
