It shall be the duty of the director and other employees of\n\nthe juvenile bureau, at the request of and under the direction of\n\nthe court, to investigate and report on all cases that are pending\n\nin the Juvenile Docket of the district court, and to investigate and\n\nreport on all cases of delinquent children and children in need of\n\nsupervision, residing or being in the county. The director and\n\ncounselors shall have the power to file, or cause to be filed,\n\ninformation or complaint and to institute and commence the necessary\n\nlegal proceedings for the purpose of carrying into effect the laws\n\nof this state relating to delinquent children and children in need\n\nof supervision, and the director and counselors shall investigate\n\nand report to the court for appropriate legal action the existence\n\nand maintenance of any place or public resort or institution in the\n\ncounty which is or may be detrimental to morals and welfare of\n\nchildren. It shall be the duty of the court clerk to assign\n\nadequate personnel to perform the clerical duties necessary and\n\nincidental to the operation of the Juvenile Docket of the court.\n\nB.
