To aid in the more effective administration of the statutes\n\nrelating to juveniles and for the purpose of counsel and advice,\n\nthere is created a citizens' advisory committee consisting of a\n\nminimum of seven members, to serve without pay, appointed by the\n\njudge of the Juvenile Division assigned to try juvenile cases, who\n\nshall serve for a period of four (4) years and until their\n\nsuccessors are appointed.\n\nB. The membership of such committee shall contain an official\n\nor employee of the public schools of the county, a professional\n\nsocial worker employed by any recognized social agency in the\n\ncounty, a member of the board of county commissioners of the county,\n\nan attorney licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma to be\n\nselected by the members of the County Bar Association of the county,\n\nand three other members selected at will by the judge of the\n\nJuvenile Division; and of the seven members, three shall be women,\n\nand all members shall, at the date of their appointment, be legal\n\nresidents of the county.","path":["OK Code","Title 10A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ce1571164f507f7666752ada9f89b1f62bca21606e973f0b3d028071d2d38c52","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10a-10a-2-4-108","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10a-10a-2-4-110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
