Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-7-303","heading":"Community-based programs","body":"The Office of Juvenile Affairs, in its role as planner and\n\ncoordinator for juvenile justice and delinquency prevention\n\nservices, is hereby authorized to and shall enter into contracts for\n\nthe establishment and maintenance of community-based facilities,\n\nservices and programs which may include, but are not limited to:\n\nChildren's emergency resource center, diagnosis, crisis\n\nintervention, counseling, group work, case supervision, job\n\nplacement, school-based prevention programs, alternative diversion\n\nprograms for first-time offenders and for youth alleged or\n\nadjudicated to be in need of supervision, recruitment and training\n\nof volunteers, consultation, case management services, and agency\n\ncoordination with emphasis on keeping youth with a high potential\n\nfor delinquency out of the traditional juvenile justice process and\n\ncommunity intervention centers.
